Richie Feeney has issued a public apology to his Castlebar Mitchels team-mates for the black card he picked up in Monday's All-Ireland Club SFC final defeat to St Vincent's.

The Mayo star was forced to watch the action unfold from the sidelines after being shown a black card in the fifth minute of the decider.

Yesterday he tweeted: "Let my teammate's down big time. Nothing but regrets. Have to find a way to make up for it now. #MitchelsAbu". Tweet
