The Sligo hurling community was left reeling last week following the death of Mickey Galvin who guided the Yeats County to Rackard Cup success in 2008.

This will be Fermanagh's third appearance in the decider in four years while Sligo are bidding to book a return to the Nicky Rackard Cup having suffered relegation 12 months ago.

Neither team will read too much into Sligo's 5-16 to 0-12 win over Fermanagh last weekend as the Ulster men fielded an understrength team due to the fact that they had book their final ticket with a game in hand.
