Castleknock
Our new all weather facility at Somerton opened last week and is a huge success with non stop activity. Thanks to all who adhered to the rules re using the facility particularly the safety procedures. Well done to our grounds development committee, past & present, and all who have worked so hard and contributed to develop this facility.
Our Juvenile Awards night takes place on Friday 20th in the Castleknock Hotel. Starting at 6.30 to 7.30 for under 8's to U11's and from 7.45 to 9pm for U12's to U16's. RTE's own voice of GAA Michael Lyster will be there to add to the occasion. We also have in attendance Liam Rushe from the Dublin Senior Hurling team, Paddy Andrews, Dublin Senior Footballer and Denise Masterson of Dublin Ladies Football. So a great night is promised.
Well done to all of our participants in Scor na nOg Atha Cliath semi-final in Naomh Mearnog on Thursday night. Hard luck to our Minor Hurlers in the league final against a very good St. Kevins side.

The Club AGM will be held this Thursday night 19th November at 8.30pm. A full attendance would be appreciated.
The Floodlight Raffle tickets are on sale now from the club via team mentors. The draw will be made on 21st November so please get your tickets asap.
Our Christmas Fair is on 29th Novemberwe would ask all members to make a big effort to donate any prize, gift or bottleall donations gratefully received.
The Club Dinner Dance is on Saturday night 21st November tickets still available from Trish or from the bar.
There was no winner of the Jackpot this week- numbers drawn this week were 11, 29 & 32. The Jackpot is now 1,500.
Our Senior Hurlers had another important win in AHL2 where they defeated Raheny 0-10 to 1-08.
Best of luck to our seven Juvenile members who take part in the Scór na nÓg Áth Cliath finals this Wednesday night in the Chraobh Chiarin clubhouse.
There will be a table quiz in the club on Wednesday 18th November in support of Action Breast Cancer.

St Brigids
Reminder to all members to return your tickets for the club car draw ASAP. The draw has been delayed until Sat Nov 28th due to the slow return of tickets. The club website is currently offline at the moment due to a server move but should be back running soon. All roads lead to Nowlan Pk this Sunday as our Ladies Senior Footballers face Brian Boru of Tipperary in the All-Ireland Final. Throw-in at 2pm. Massive support needed from everyone. U21 Footballers face St Vincents in Champo Q-Final this Sat at 2.45pm in Russell Pk. Please note the Senior & Inter Hurling fixtures scheduled for this Sun may switch to Sat evening as a result of the Ladies Final. Senior 2 Footballers reached the Play-offs beating St Annes. U21 Hurlers narrowly went down to Cuala. Club Lotto takes place this Thursday in The Vineyard with a Jackpot of E14000.
Ballyboden Wanderers

Brilliant battling from the Junior B s in a 0-10 to 0-7 win over Ballinteer. Great performances from Donal Redmond, Colly O Connor, Conor Cronin and Colm Kilfeather. U21 hurlers play St Marks in Championship tonight (Tuesday) at 7.30pm on pitch 34. On Saturday, U21 footballers play in the Championship semi final v Kilmacud Crokes in Silverpark ( Kilmacud ) throw in 2.45 pm.Support for both games would be greatly appreciated.
U13 girls did the club proud, bringing home the Shield against Cuala at Naomh Mearnog. Disappointment for the U13 footballers against Thomas Davis, but two U9 selections produced three wins and a draw against St Vincent s in the first indoor hurling outing. O'Dwyers
Calling all footballers. Pre-Season Training has started at O'Dwyers Club. Training every Tuesday and Thursday 7pm. All levels welcomed. New members welcome too.
Juvenile Camogie for 9-13 year olds starting on a Friday night on All-Weather pitch from 7-8pm.
Social: Bingo every Wednesday night in O'Dwyers GAA Club. Bingo starts at 8.55pm. All welcome.
Classes for Juveniles and Adults as Beginners or Advanced have commenced in O'Dwyers GAA clubhouse, Bremore, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin: Monday nights - Set Dancing. Juveniles 7.30pm -8.15pm. Adults 8.15pm - 10pm. Tuesday nights - Tin Whistle from 7pm. Wednesday nights - Fiddle from 6.15pm. Thursday nights - Fiddle from 6.15pm.

AGM: Thursday 26th November.
The committee wishes to advice Members that The Accounts ( year end 30th June 2009 ) will be available for viewing in the clubhouse from 7ñ10pm on the Tuesday and Thursday this week ( 17th & 19th November ). All nominations from members need to be put in writing and addressed to the secretary one week prior to the AGM. The Senior Footballers drew with Ballyboden on Thursday night under lights & the U11 Hurlers continued their good run with a tournament win against Raheny. The U15 also won beating Ballymun. Due to bad weather the majority of fixtures didn't go ahead. The Minor Championship Final was again postponed and further details on a new date and venue will follow. A Christmas Cookery Demonstration will take place in Fingallians G.A.A. Club on Wednesday 25th. November at 8pm with chef Greg O' Rourke. [email protected] A Basic First Aid course will take place in Fingallians G.A.A Club on Wednesday 18th November @ 7pm SHARP in the club hall. Course will deal with minor cuts and bruises as well as how to deal with broken bones and dislocations. ALL mentors and parents are invited to attend this First Aid Course and is FREE OF CHARGE.
