Kilmacud Crokes are two wins away from an 11th Dublin senior football championship title after seeing off Ballymun Kickhams by 0-14 to 0-10 this evening at Parnell Park.
The All-Ireland champions controlled this headline clash in the capital from the 20th minute onwards, with Shane Walsh and Paul Mannion once again leading the way for them in the scoring stakes.
Crokes outscored their northside counterparts by 0-4 to 0-1 in the closing 10 minutes of the first-half to carry in a three-point lead (0-7 to 0-4) come the interval.
The Stillorgan men opened their advantage up to five after 10 minutes of the restart and, while Ballymun kept in contention until the finish, points via Mannion (free) and Walsh late on put a seal on their team’s semi-final berth.
