Dublin boss Dessie Farrell says last night’s cracking clash against Derry at Celtic Park are “the type of challenges you want”.
The Ulster champions came from 0-7 to 0-2 behind at half-time to win by 1-11 to 0-13 in the end and move two points clear at the top of Division 2 of the Allianz Football League, leaving themselves a point off guaranteed promotion.
Speaking to RTE Sport after his team’s one-point defeat, Farrell looked at some of the positives his group could take from it.
"It was a great game for us to get, a great challenge. We'll learn a lot from this," he stated.
"I think we're making good progress. It's never linear. There was a little bit of a setback tonight, given where we were at half-time. But they're the type of challenges you want."
