A Garda investigation into Dublin's training breach at Innisfails GAA club has now concluded

The organisers of a training session involving members of the Dublin senior football team six weeks ago will not face any fines or sanctions.

It has been confirmed that a Garda investigation into the matter has now concluded.

The Irish Times reports today that Gardai were satisfied with the engagement of the players during its investigation, meaning that fines were deemed not to be a necessary penalty.

Following confirmation of the breach of Covid-19 restrictions at the Innisfails GAA club, Dublin county board suspended senior team manager Dessie Farrell for 12 weeks.
