The 2019 Awards Night was held in the club on Saturday Evening 1st February. Club President, Kathleen Roche was enrolled into the Lucan Sarsfields Hall of Fame. As someone who has never played for, coached or managed any team in the club, and who has never been on the Executive, Kathleen has given huge commitment and time to the club, both in team support, and, in fundraising. She has continued in these roles year after year for more than 30 years with little recognition or acknowledgement. Chairman, Mike Bowler acknowledged on behalf of the club, the way Kathleen has spearheaded successful fundraising events such as White Collar Boxing, Strictly Come Dancing, The Cube, Annual Dinner Dance, Weekly Lotto and the Christmas Draw. The Club Person of the Year award went to Jackie Foley, who works tirelessly to promote and enhance Lucan Sarsfields Clubhouse and 12th Lock Café.
