"We work hard, we train hard" that's the response from Eilish Andrews when asked what the ingredients of success are. The senior camogie coach at Castleknock GAA has just seen her side promoted to division 1 for the first time in the clubs history and makes no bones about the significance of the achievement and the challenge it brings.
Speaking to Hoganstand.com Andrews says "division 1 will be tough, if you want to play at that level you have to train at that level, you can't be fair-weather about it"
The west Dublin club's journey from one team in division seven in 2012 to two teams at the top of their game, both adult sides were promoted this year, Andrews identifies the players commitment as the secret sauce which brought them to today. A team of seasoned campaigners mixed with an infusion of new blood in the senior ranks will face tough opposition in division 1 but Andrews believes they are ready.
