Annual General Meeting 2013
The AGM was held in the Clubrooms on Wednesday 27th November 2013 - 75 people attended. Following the usual formalities on the Agenda, the presentation of the Secretary's and Camogie Reports, Cathal Murray on behalf of the Football Development Committee (FDC), presented an outline of 'The Way Forward'. The FDC have been working on this for the past couple of months and will have it ready to roll out before any managements are put in place - it will apply to all codes, not just Football. It was well received and accepted by the meeting on the proposal of Brian McGreevy, seconded by Paddy O McConville.
Padraig Matthews presented the Treasurer's Report and this was followed by the Chairman's Address in which Brendan spoke of the shocking loss of Jerry Quinn immediately after last year's AGM. He spoke of the value of volunteers to Clonduff, the new driveway, the club shop and our Club President Dean Davies who was unable to attend. Brendan then declared all positions on the Executive vacant and asked Cathal Murray to conduct the elections. Not a single vote was required and the following members were returned to the Executive:
Chairperson: Brendan Murray
Secretary: Anita Brannigan
Treasurer: Lorraine Bloomfield
 Vice Chair: Martin Farnon
Assistant Secretary: Vacant
Assistant Treasurer: Padraig Matthews
Registrar: Alistair McGilligan
PRO: Francis Quinn
Culture, Language & Community: Jimmie Cousins
Children & Welfare: Teresa Carr
Facilities Management: PJ McGreevy
Adult Games: John Anthony Gribben
Juvenile Games: Ross Carr
Co Board Rep: Tommy Kelly
Players' Rep: Rory Grant
A motion was passed by the requisite two-thirds to add five additional members, including the Development Officer to the Executive. These will be co-opted for the incoming year.
The new Executive will meet for the first time on Monday 9th December @ 8pm, the main business of which will be the make-up of sub committees and to revisit their remits - each of the sub committees will, as per last year, be headed up by a member of the Executive

South Down Awards 2013
Gaels from all over South Down converged on Rostrevor GAA Social Club on Friday night for the Annual Awards which followed the magnificent meal.
