Antrim pip Wicklow

March 24, 2003
Antrim 1-14 Wicklow 2-10 Antrim consigned Wicklow to their fifth defeat in Division two of the Allianz football league at Aughrim on March 23, although it took an injury time point by Kevin Brady to secure the points for the Northern side. Trailing by five points at half-time Antrim had it all to do in the second period but a well taken goal by Brady midway through the second half turned the game around. A Paddy Dalton free in the last minute of normal time looked like Wicklow were going to come away with a draw but man-of the-match Brady was on hand to fire over the winner deep into injury time.
