New Derry hurling team management announced

At the recent Club Derry function the Derry 2007 senior hurling management team was announced with Ballinascreen clubman, Gabriel O'Kane heading a management team that also includes Brian McGilligan of Kevin Lynch's and Sean McCloskey (Roe) of Banagher.
O'Kane is the son of the former Dungiven and Derry county player, the late Billy O'Kane and was in charge of the Ballinascreen senior side this season. The new management team takes over from Sean 'E' McCloskey who stepped down from the post after leading the Oak Leaf county to the Nicky Rackard Cup title in 2006.
