Its possible that the pay for County Team preparation isn't as lucrative as Fitness boot camps and personal training, big money in that stuff these days. Working with the County team is a huge positive item to have on a CV, but that aside, they probably earn more from other avenues.

I'm sure there will be interesting conversations in Donegal Town tonight given they should have had this weekend off if right was right.

So much for four masters. Another season of hype and nothing to show for it.

Sure the Gaa is an amateur organisation, nobody's getting paid.......

Note that for this week's scores I just went with the winning margin, regardless of whether teams finished level after the regulation 60 minutes. There were only a few draw predictions, but none in any games that finished level.
So for example, if you picked Muff to win by 1, I gave you the max 5 points.

All Inishowen Semi Finals in the Intermediate

NP v Burt
Carn v Malin

Surely the games will be kept in Inishowen?

Great to have an Inishowen club back in Senior Football next year.

I believe there was an error in the scoreline in the GD v KB game. KB didn't appeal because it didn't help them. But by sporting merit, Four Masters should've been through to the quarter finals.

Does anyone know if there is a master schedule where the remaining rounds of champaionship fixtures are outlined?

Junior Semi-Finals & Final
Intermediate Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final
Senior Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final

Thanks.

Beaten on the field by a better team at the weekend. That's the only sporting merit that matters. No point blaming others

I agree completely but they should never have been in that game in the first place.
They had rightfully earned a top 4 spot only for a counting error to cost them. They should never have had to face the jeapordy of another game a week later.
Might have met the same fate in the end but I think if I was from Four Masters I would be a bit annoyed.

The inishowen championship. Really hard to call a winner out it as well and nice local rivilaries. I guess the carn v malin match maybe back to np and np vs burt in buncrana. Or maybe even a double header in celtic park.......

Great to see. Looks like the teams who finished 5th to 8th in the group, all beat those who came 1st to 4th. In fairness, there was only one win of a difference between 1st and 8th.
Who'd be the favourite for Intermediate from here?

If FM are annoyed it would really would be wrong way to think about. With a two week break to the quarters and a home draw against a team that only just squeezed into the quarters it would be an ideal opportunity to get some proper football into their legs and find a good rythm. The fact they couldn't get the job done is what they should be annoyed about.

I think that is a very harsh and negative comment. The hype is created by the media and underage success. The problem is the team is very young with less than 5 over 25 in the squad. The players are coming but all coming together rather than a few adding to a solid panel like N Conail for example. Something like 10 of the 15 are entering the U21 championship later in the year. When they reach an average of 25 then i feel they need to be winning and kicking on. If not then that would be not living up to the hype. The reserve team started a team with the oldest man being 24. Who will challenge them at U21 level?

No point in Four Masters crying about this now.
There are four games to establish yourself as a top four team.

The Intermediate is a great championship. Every year it is very difficult to predict.
At this stage I would give a hesitant vote for Malin, but who knows?

Madness that there is only 1 week between Semi Final and Final considering that the Quarter Finals of Ulster Intermediate Championship ( v Fermanagh Champions) isn't until 8th November.

Surely a 2 week break would have better then 3 weeks to the Ulster game?
