Had a suspicion that Tyrone were top4 material all year, and they waited until tonight to suggest strongly that they are. I think that's the closest Kerry will come to getting beat this summer.

Tough battle against Tyrone as expected. An awesome game. Two tough competitors going at it hammers and tongs. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9900 - 27/06/2026 20:49:12 2682272 Link 0 |

That was the day for Kerry to be caught with the 3 weeks in a row, honestly can't see anyone getting close to them now. Kerry are a class act but you'd be raging with some of the decisions in the last 10 minutes if you were from Tyrone. JimB1991 (Donegal) - Posts: 218 - 27/06/2026 20:58:22 2682273 Link 1 |

And thank you for your not so deep or insightful answer. Donegal are a class above that Cork team and should never have been losing to them in Ballybofey..

That's a mainly very young Roscommon team who will learn a lot from this year. I'd be hopeful they'll go a lot further in the championship next year. Kerry the only provincial champions in the last 8 this year. The gloss really has gone off provincial titles. It's now about peaking for the All Ireland series or in your county's case peaking for the Tailteann cup.

Ah will ya stop. I've never seen a worse Mayo team in an All Ireland Semi Final. All said, both Galway & Mayo have been no great shakes in the championship and yet here we are. Neither of them will lay a hand on Kerry that's for sure.

If Tyrone can put it up to them so can other teams. Your own team beat them out the gate. Tyrone obviously didn't go out with the mentality that it was a foregone conclusion.. Neither will whoever meets them next.... BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 4427 - 27/06/2026 21:27:52 2682281 Link 1 |

I think people saw today why I was warning about Tyrone all winter. A seriously tough competitor. Between Armagh, Tyrone and Donegal - Tyrone gave Kerry the tougher game last year. A lot of people underestimated that going into the final last year. Kerry were more battle hardened last year after Armagh and Tyrone. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9900 - 27/06/2026 22:11:13 2682291 Link 0 |

This is the all Ireland series thread, one in which your team was beaten off the field. Don't get too warm in that glasshouse.

Thats all well and good but they may still make a final and win it! They definitely seem stronger under the new coaching team anyway

have to admire the patronising kerry supporters. Great stock when winning.

The obsession you have for Roscommon remain very odd. Roscommon won Connacht Senior,U20 and Minor trophies this year and remained in Division 1they had much worse seasons. So reality than dreaming. Leitrims dream lives on. 1994 since winning the Connacht senior title and haven't reached the final since 2000. 1991 since you won a U20/21 Connacht title and last final 2014. 1998 since winnig Connacht Minor and last final 2002. Roscommon have showed Leitrim what a county of less resources and size can do. Drax_the_destroyer (UK) - Posts: 916 - 27/06/2026 22:52:57 2682308 Link 0 |

Of course teams won't go out with that mentality but just the way I see it. Kerry are likely to kick on to another level again now they have a break and had a run out in Crone Park. Remember too that a lot of their boys are only a game ow two in after coming back from injuries. Hope I'm wrong and we see a really competitive end to the year. That's not my experience of most Kerry fans. Generally they are very modest in victory and humble in defeat. They are the finest of sportsmen who celebrate their county's successes like the fans of every county . Yes they indulge in a bit of yerra but don't we all.

Great game, Kerry are top of the tree but I knew Tyrone weren't going out to lie down. People were raving about Armagh all year yet an under par Tyrone should have beat them. Kicked themselves out of it today. Good luck with the rest of the year.
