16 became 12. Rossies can feel hard done by luck of the draw but other three are the right three eliminated . This time two weeks we will only have three more games left in championship. Next week looks way too packed with four do or die knockout games, two knockout hurling quarter finals and taitleann Cup semis as well. Let the thing breathe. Kerry Armagh and donegal remain top 3 . I guess a few weeks back (pre rnd 1 draw) it would have seen as disasterous for 1 of these 3 to miss out on direct route as it could mean meeting 1 of the other big 3 in the QF. Ironically now that they have all been beaten once, they will avoid each other in QF. Okay armagh could get kerry in rnd 3, but asuming they dont (and i dont agree with the conspiracy theorists) its unlucky for the 4 teams who went direct route as 3 of them are likely to meet the big 3 in the QFs anotheralias (Galway) - Posts: 1083 - 14/06/2026 21:00:33 2679647 Link
