Spirit of Eslin, eh? There used to be a guy here posting crazy stuff like the Eslin players were roaring in training, guff like that. This the same guy?

Disappointing performance overall, a few lads getting a run out ahead of next week, which will be needed. There is a good group of players there. Fergal McL put in a good shift, Ryan O played well as did Jack K when came on. Good performances from Paul H & Ben G too. I don't see what Poacher sees in Kieran C, contributes very little and gets caught out more often then not. Also Diffley at 6, lets the ball away to handy and gets caught out from the many games I have seen him at club and county. Pity as I am sure he gives it his all but should not be at 6 for the county team. McNulty & Prior two huge losses, but we always knew that.
My 2 cents anyways, bring on next weekend where I am very optimistic we can get the win at home

Such a disappointing result, considering we brought Galway so close we should be beating Down easily, hopefully we get by Carlow without any injuries and then turn our full attention at the qualifiers and give them a proper rattle, no team will want to get us, huge crowd there from Leitrim today, was talking to some very shrewd Leitrim football men after the game and none of us predicted that defeat.
