New fundraiser launched; seems a little steep at €100 but time will tell if successful. I guess anything raised is a bonus.

I presume the point here is sell as many at €100 that is possible. If they sell 100 that is €100,000 which would surely cover a couple months of training expenses.

Another draw? It's our second one in what 10 years? Tickets not cheap admittedly but inter county expenditure for teams is off the charts. What are we supposed to do??

Seems expensive but it's voluntary to buy one. One of the criticisms I've heard before is the failure to capitalise on the success of the Luke Dempsey / Paudi eras so a fundraiser is a good idea. Depends on what the buy in is. Bunbrosna GAA recently sold 200 tickets at €200 a pop in the space of a few weeks which I thought was remarkable.
It's depends if people are willing to buy in to this draw and there won't be time to dwell on it so as someone said anything raised will be a bonus.

Considering the prizes on offer it's very steep. If it was 25 euro a ticket I'd stand on Jones road on Leinster final day selling them myself for the County board but asking for 100 is way out of touch.

Yeah I don't really get the pricing There's a great prize to be won, but even €25 a ticket would be way more viable. You'd think they'd have learned from the last draw.

Last year €100 gave you the chance to win a house in Spain plus 50 grand.
This year €100 gives you the chance to win 5 grand.
Some shrinkflation!
