Re-watch it again and have a read up of the definition, then come back to me and tell me it didn't fall under 'Time wasting; delaying play' or 'Failing to retreat'. In fact Eamon Fitzmaurice in his Piece for the Examiner on Monday stated that it should have been awarded. However, I'm not saying this lost us the game. As a Donegal man and speaking to other Donegal people no one is saying Murphy didn't deserve a red. But the reaction of the media has been completely over the top you'd think he was the first GAA player ever to strike to get away with it.
