Replying To Tirchonaill1:  "I hope we give ye a good drubbing in the last game and send ye down to division 2 with your tails between your legs.
It will be a long time till Monaghan win anything again, div 3 will be looming this time next year."
We'll worry about ourselves.

Suit you better to not soil yourselves on the national stage again.

Seeing Kerry beat you again in the final will be even more satisfying than last year now

Replying To ConyersHill04:  "No matter how bad they are they'll pull out a performance against us. Definitely wouldn't be viewing it as a confidence booster after a tough league, more likely to be a complete slog and dogfight."
Cavan were relegated to div 3 in 2020. A week later Banty ball gifted them a comeback v us and the rest is history they won ulster. To be fair to them I cant recall a cavan side that hasn't shown up against monaghan. Even in 2010s we struggled to beat them when we had a far better side. We always appear suprised when we play them and they play like men possessed almost to beat us.

I would not pay any heed to your one from Donegal. Hope someone stops that lot this year . Deafening to listen to atm this year.

I feel sorry for Monaghan. Ye have some good players division 1 is a dogfight and a tough place to be for even the best teams. Will do ye no harm being in division 2 to get some confidence back . Ye seemed to fall apart a bit after Andy left ye as he did do some great work with ye. There will be better days ahead for ye.

I was only on the wind up lads, sometimes it's funny to kick over a rock and see what crawls out just!
I wish Monaghan and the good people of Monaghan all the best, no doubt ye'll be hard to beat when Ulster gets going, a year in div 2 to rebuild does nobody any harm.
