Replying To TheFlaker:  "So America admit there was no strike planned by Iran and they acted because Israel were launching an attack on Iran."
Yeah, they do what the boss tells them to do.

You couldn't make it up. The whole region is unstable now. Oil prices will skyrocket. Take a look at what the secretary of defence said yesterday….absolutely unbelievable and disgraceful.

Dhia shábháil, history will not look kindly on this era - the age of stupidity.

Only time i've ever agreed with you!

Trump was elected in 2016 on promise to stop following Bush, Clinton, Obama into these stupid adventures.

This one potentially the worst of all.

You and I don't often agree either Barney, but I agree that this one has the potential to bring the world to its knees

It seems as if POTUS is making up his narrative to reflect the train of events. Reactive in that he is trying to turn everything so that he looks good. He just contradicted Rubio on the initial sequencing of the commencement of hostilities. He now says that he influenced Israel to get stuck in. Rubio painstakingly laid out a different version last night. That one didn't suit POTUS as it took the "limelight" away from him. It's important to spin it so that it looks as you are in charge, even if it's obvious you aren't.

It's like an episode of South Park. Latest this evening sees Trump making fun of Starmer (who I'm
No fan of but you can't have one leader mocking an ally).

Starmer should fire back…"I may be no Churchill but your ain't no Obama"

Or Eisenhower. See now he is claiming that everything is "knocked out in Iran". If that is correct, who is spraying drones and missiles all over the Middle East. Question is, how detached from reality is this man ?

The Gulf states will surely be lobbying very strongky for this to end soon. On one hand, they're probably losing billions by the day by the fact that their oil isn't getting out to market.
On the other, their capabilities to intercept Iranian ballistics will be depleting by the day. They cost a lot more than what Iran are firing into the sky.
So the current sitaution can't go on indefinitely.

You just don't know with Trump. He could wrap it all up by lunchtime, and claim "victory" by the fact that he took out Khameini. Or he could order troops in on the ground (unlikely I know) but would any of you be all that shocked if he did?

He'll do whatever Netanyahu orders him to do.

I heard trump the other day rambling about lovely curtains.drapes and about the great ballroom he was building..I'm gone way beyond taking anything he says serious anymore.
This was in the middle of a war in middle east that he decided he was going to start.
Does anyone know what Israel have on him cos he seems to agree with anything they decide..he goes off then and slags any leader or country who don't support him..just when we say things can't get worse, the man causes chaos everywhere.

Churchill served in several wars, even resigned a desk job to serve on the front in WW1. Completely different type of man to Trump.

Don't forget that Churchill was never a friend of Ireland. Long before Dev decided to stay "neutral" in WW2.
