Well done lads on last week's game, ye came out of the traps flying and although we battled back well and could of won I think ye did deserve the win. Not all doom and gloom for us with the amount of chances we have created in the 3 matches, if we sharpen up our shooting I think we can catch fire some day, must say I never have confidence playing ye lot, you remind me a bit of Armagh 3/4 years ago like us then ye have a forward line to rival anyone's and can do a bit of everything and have a decent midfield just seem to get stuck at qf step, but you have every chance of breaking that run this year, I think any team from 12 can win it but I'd have Donegal and Kerry slightly ahead with all div 1 teams and a few div 2 teams in chasing pack that on their day can beat anyone or catch fire. Best of look for the year ahead and we might meet again later Liftball (Armagh) - Posts: 51 - 19/02/2026 16:17:46 2657342 Link 7 |

Seems to be the same team and bench named every week. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of changes in starting 15 and couple of changes to the bench

Great win, Roscommon. Three tough games still to come though: The Dubs and Donegal at home and then Mayo away on the last day. foreveryoung (USA) - Posts: 2450 - 21/02/2026 20:45:13 2657691 Link 0 |

Massive win for roscommon tonight, these were the type of games they usually lost in.last few minutes. The new recruits have been brillant and deservedly held their jerseys. St brigids players will find it tough to break into starting line up. Well done to the players and management. Everyone thought it was going to be a tough year for new management team they deserve huge credit Charliepace (Donegal) - Posts: 19 - 21/02/2026 22:18:31 2657712 Link 4 |

Great showing again in brutal conditions. Dont think people realised how strong the wind was. At half time i thought wed be able to get it back to few points with the wind, but galway would hold on by 2/3 pts. Bigsam88 (Roscommon) - Posts: 20 - 22/02/2026 07:45:57 2657727 Link 0 |

Well done roscommon players and management. Really tough conditions in first half and the conditions improved I thought massively in second half. That game last night showed me the mentality shift in these lads because they never gave up. Daire cregg is just outstanding to watch. He's full of confidence and a confident player is a dangerous player. Well done Mark dowd on substitutions that looked mad at the time but worked brilliant. Senan lamb was brilliant he's got so much potential. What a night in salthill apart from the weather

Yeah, agree with the above for the most part. Mis field our Achilles heel. Could be the area that the Brigid's lads remedy. moros (Roscommon) - Posts: 1275 - 22/02/2026 12:02:26 2657753 Link 0 |

This Roscommon senior team are playing more like Brigids, e.g can lose the midfield exchanges yet still score high and find ways to win. Drax_the_destroyer (UK) - Posts: 693 - 22/02/2026 12:37:38 2657763 Link 0 |

Brilliant win last night and great to see a few Rossies walking around Salthill and Eyre Square last night and this morning with smiles on their faces. The wind in the second half was just a fraction of what the Rossies faced in the first half which makes the win even more special. These new young players never gave up even when 13 points down and ably led by very three very special forwards in Enda, Diarmuid and Daire. It was however a real team/panel performance. Hope the Darragh Heneghan injury is not too bad as he has been very impressive so far in the league. The management team also deserve great credit for having confidence in using various substitutes during the league which results in great competition for places. letsgetgoing (Roscommon) - Posts: 848 - 22/02/2026 12:39:30 2657764 Link 1 |

Agree with all of that. Whatever the future brings (hopefully lots of good things) we've had a few wonderful magical weeks. Long may it continue! Seanfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 374 - 22/02/2026 20:39:33 2657934 Link 0 |
