Replying To KingdomofBreifne:  "By the way your team are playing at the moment, you'll be there soon enough. We'll be fine. We're young and rebuilding but will stay up. We don't want to miss the opportunity to aid your downward momentum next year."
LOL you've been rebuilding for 70 years....

Replying To Eddie the Exile:  "Consensus in Cavan is there is very little coming through. "A heap of middling to ordinary Bradys and Reillys" as a man from Kingscourt described them recently to me. They are kicking it into a 41 year oldmon the edge of the square to good effect all the same."
Ah come on now. Mckiernan is about the same age as Rory Beggan. You're relying on him, a goalkeeper, albeit a very talented one, to get scores. Id rather rely on an experienced forward than turn a goalie into one. There's lots of talent coming through in cavan. Your sources on the Meath border never watch a game that doesn't involve there own club.

Hopefully our Minor all Ireland finalists from 2 years ago have a promising future ahead of them....."
No, you won't. They're similar to the successful Cavan U21 teams. Lots of hard workers and honest lads but not a single top level forward. You're going backwards.

Replying To seanie08:  "Was expecting Jack back he generally plays well v the Dubs not great he isnt named we are a bit light on inside forwards. If Jones were still involved hed surely start."
Hearing mooney broke his jaw doubt he will be involved. Extremely light on forwards

You just focus on Healy Park on Sunday, your record against Tyrone not the greatest.

Agree with the realistic sentiments of many on here about this year's league prospects, but playing the Dubs around this time of year often brings out the best in us.

So let's not rule out the "neutrals" getting a suprise.

As weak a Dublin team we could have hoped for.

I was just pondering there on the upcoming junior and intermediate seasons as they are the most competitive divisions in the county.

I'm going to make a bold prediction and go for Killeevan in the junior. They have come on leaps and bounds recently and had 46 lads tog out last week for a challenge match. A man from there that has a gason on the team also told me that they are training two mornings a week at 5am.

In intermediate I'll go for ballybay. They should get back up if Paul Finlay is playing

Has to be some of the worst football I've ever seen at this level. Two terrible teams

Not sure how Monaghan contrived to lose that. They left about 5-3 behind them tonight. That was a weak Duvlin team so hard to read too much into it but it was miles better than the performnce against Armagh.
