Indeed, great win for the "little" hurlers. "Little" used as a term of endearment, not one of derision, as a certain few posters on here seem to think.

Now that I have brought the hurlers of Leitrim into the conversation on this thread, I hope that posters like yourself will continue to comment on them in a favorable light.

It is not an easy task to travel overseas away from home to earn two points. Let's see now if the much talked about county footballers are up to a similar task next weekend. Wishing them the best.

Championship to start a week earlier which is good but could be better.

Seems a bit mad there is a bye in the league every second weekend for round 1 to 7, but then they play off the phase 2 and the u20's in the same 4 week period.

Very impressive score. Poor start to League but they can catch up with winnable games ahead. Sligo look good for promotion but it's early days. They deserve our support with such a small base they are doing their best

Looking good on injury front with up to 5 returning including Barry McNulty. Tom Prior 50/50 fingers crossed. Wednesday training session will provide update. We can win this game .
