It is likely to be the most we have had in both panels in a long time and it is nearly the whole u20 forward unit. Rabbitte, Niland, Leen and Callanan are all in with the senior training already. Cullen Killeen will be in there after Loughrea finish. Sean Murphy also with senior group. The likes of Vince Morgan, Darragh Counihan and Colm Burke wouldn't be a million miles off it either. Not all of them will still be with the seniors by the time the league rolls around but it will definitely be a lot more crossing the two squads than in recent years."
No harm having these U20s in with Seniors. Tipp showed us last year , you arent too old or too young if you are good enough. U20s is a development grade and yes we would love to win a Leinster at best , but id rather lads do what McCarthy did and play both!

Ya the only problem is our u20s are 10 years behind in s&c compared to tipp, Limerick cork etc

Why would you think that? Munster and Leinster counties have split the last 4 finals. Can't say that your team looked any smaller than ours in any of the games we played eachother recently at u20, in any of those years, and we were the same size as Kilkenny and bigger than Offaly. Cork had a taller and bigger team than Offaly too in the final 3 years ago ok.

Cian Daniels from Larkins is in with the panel along with Darragh Neary from Cashel and I believe Manso is in there as well. Would be no harm to see a few of the young lads getting a run out as well - Jason Rabbitte, Rory Burke, Niland, Sean Murphy etc. Haven't heard anything on the Sarsfields lads but I'd hope Connaire is back with the panel this year."
Walsh Cup is a complete waste of time. Playing young lads in rain, muck and freezing conditions is not giving them a chance. Leave them with their age group rather than giving them a chance that's not a realistic opportunity to play hurling. Develop the young lads please

No we are not sorry. Both Galway Teams played the Senior Champions of other counties, neither from Roscommon. Toreen a very strong club and they would hold their own if they played in the Galway Championship. Best of luck to them.

Desperate from our intermediate teams bar Oranmore and TAD. I remember Kinvara and now eyrecourt taking hammerings. Intermediate is division 3 in Galway, but still. Shouldn't be losing to Mayo teams.
