There'll not be many shocks tonight. All the Div 1 games look clear cut and only Ballyvarley/warrenpint looks close in Div 2.

Can someone post the ACH Div 1 & 2 results here please. If we are waiting on the Down Website to post them, we should have them by season close!

The Warrenpoint Vs Ballyvarley game was called off due to a bereavement within Warrenpoint.
Clonduff beat Portaferry 1-13 to 1-4.

Thanks - what about the Kilclief game? Also, whats the craic with Newry - are they struggling to field this year?

I wonder if the shamrocks failed to get a team together for the very reason Ballygalget requested their fixture with Newry which was to take place in Newry at 7.00pm to be put back until the game could be played a bit later in the evening. You'd need to be leaving Newry at 5ish to get the 6.00PM boat to have any time in Ballycran.

A bit of a tall order in anyones book.

Shamrocks beat Ballgalget by 3 points.
The difference being Kieran Courtney's wonder goal, where he ran 80 yards with the ball, through most of the Ballygalget team and fired the ball to the net. You can't beat talent.

Courtney is a great player all rite and stands out at intermiate level. He'd come on more if he was playing for a senior club.

Ballela beat Kilclief. I think there was 3 pts in that one as well.

Bredagh beat Newry Shamrocks in Newry by 4 points. Bredagh can be a force at this level if they put out strong teams. No Antrim league match this week

good result for us the other night, thogought it was fairly bad tempered to be honest. im not sure why matches between us and shamrocks get like that, maybe there is actually bad feeling that i didnt know about. considering we were missing a good of our regulars, it was very plaesing to get away with a win.

The county senior manager has a lot to answer for, taking the Shamrocks' player away at the last minute.
If Kieran Courtney was there on tuesday night, there is no way we would have been beaten.
But good luck to Bredagh, although I don't think they were missing any where near the numbers the Shamrocks were.
On watching the match I am convinced that at least 3 Bredagh players should be on the Junior panel.

i hate it when people say they were missing a load of players, but we genuinley were missing about six players who would definetly start. has to be said though, if coutney was playing it would have been a different game
