Whatever about Cian Ward I dont think Farrell or Sheridan have anything to offer. Sheridan looked finished in last years leinster final and Farrell came on against Tyrone and contributed nothing. Indeed I dont remember Farrell making a serious contribution in years. The big positives for Meath is the emergence of Tormey, Newman, and Wallace alongside Kevin Reilly, Tobin, Keogan, Bray, and the returning O rourke. There are eight very decent players, we have a strong spine of a team there and hopefully Gillespies return will bring strength to our midfield. These lads can compete I dont see the need for pessimism
