Lads just didn't show up for the second half unfortunately. Played well against a strong breeze and up a slope in the first but were blown away in the second.

First of all just like to say hard luck to the lads would have been great to make the final. Just didn't turn up for the second half by the sounds of it unfortunately couldn't make it up yesterday just wondering if anyone could tell me why gannon didn't start been at a lot of games this and he has been one of the better forwards all year especially in the drawn game taught he was superb was very surprised when I heard he only came on for last 5 mins. Once again hard luck and best of luck to cillian think he done a good job

Gannon had virus all week and was a huge loss as his speed, determination and courage all year have been top class. A long trip, but well worth it to see the good hurling people of Down supporting their own and they made us very welcome (pity about the ferry delay on way back) good luck to them in the Final. Meath County Board have a lot to answer for when it comes to Hurling and this Sqad deserves every support, not the crap with football fixtures, etc. etc. Cillian Farrell has done a fantasic job and it is important to get Boylan or whoever in ASAP. Plenty of youth in the squad, the nucleus of the All-Ireland Minor B winners are comming through and they must get the support from all concerned. If the Footballers showed as much courage, we would be winning leinsters and all-irelands!!Yes a poor second half performanec, at half time i fancied the Royals with wind and pitch advantage in second half, just didnt happen, Next year, win Div 2B and then the C Ring!!
