Cormac McGill - Full back could be a problem if K Reilly is injured again, and we need Menton outfield at CHB
Ricky Nolan - need a proper goalkeeper for 2013
Michael Newman - at FF can win his ball and bring others in to play with his distribution, he and Joe could rotate CHF and FF

For me i'd like to see Andrew Tormey of Ashbourne brought in, Steven Corrigan of Wolfe Tones should be looked into and i want to see Niall McLoughlin also of the Tones back in a Meath Jersey, i thought he was brilliant on sunday.

I heard of if Matthaus Rickard plays in south meath for kildalkly/ballivor, if he performs well against moynalty in the u21 1st round he is surely worth a look in for the Meath seniors. opinions?

What age is Niall McLoughlin,he is a class act.Cant understand how he hasnt been on the Meath team for years. He has been the most influential player in this years Senior Football Championship. He never wastes a ball, and sure from a distance he even looks like Tomas O Shea.

Niall McLoughlin is 29, almost 30, was shafted for years by the managmenent so id be surprised if he would want in.
Corrigan is same age, also never got a run when he should have, so at this stage he is hardly gona give the commitment.
But agreed, two excellent players that slipped through the net, I have said it before and I will say it again. There are too many players on the meath panel who have gone stale and have been on the panel for 6 or 7 years.

McLoughlin has been an excellent club footballer since Tones switched him to defence 9 years ago. The problem is he was on panels under Boylan, Barry and Coyle with a few championship starts in '06 and '07. Basically he didn't really translate his club form to inter-county. He chose to quit the Meath panel for his own reasons. How can we say he was shafted?

He got shafted clearly because he wasnt chosen on teams that he should have been on. The reason he didnt transforn his form was because he was in and out of teams and was not prepared to sit on a bench for a few years and look at other players playing ahead of him. Thats my personal opinion, same as Caoimhin King this year, Eoghan Harrington is another who will lose patience shortly. Roasted James Kavanagh against Kildare and then got rewarded with a cosy seat on the bench for his troubles.
