Christy Ring semi final

I don't think it was a frontal charge at all. The Wicklow player seemed to slip as he went into the challenge and collided with Donoghue's hip area. A yellow probably but never a red card as was agreed by every Wicklow fan around me. And he wasn't on the ground for 3 minutes at all.
As for the injury time, one minute was signalled and I timed it from the throw in. Meath got their final point of the half halfway through the 37th minute. They got the goal around the 38th/39th minutes. The challenge that led to the red occurred in the 40th minute.
The game was set for a great, competitive second half with Meath playing with the wind and only a few points down but the referee ruined any hopes of a comeback. Wicklow were never really troubled.

But if it wasn't for the shocking start to the first half (we were 2-7 to 3 points down after over 20 minutes) we could have made a better game of it in the second half. I'd expect Wicklow to win the final. They've a quality full forward line and their number 7 was lethal from dead balls.
