Its all down to the day!! Few surprising results this year so far but that counts for nothing unless you have made the knockout stages.. Rathmolyon and CNG will be favourites but every team is beatable. Rathmolyon were better last year and are over reliant on the Cole bros.. it will be close between all the teams left..Intermediate is a sticky grade and there wont be any team getting beat by a big margin!!

Rath will prob go all the way but if there stopped i think it will be Blackhall. Some good young hurlers

The game between dunderry & blackhall showed the big difference between a team of 15 players against a team of 9 lads made up of backs and midfielders and then havin 6 forwards that jus want all individual glory. Blackhall had county player in at full forward even though he has played midfield at county level and was a waste till he came out to middle of park for 2nd half. It was bad seein blackhall loose cause with talent they have it would be good to seen them winning out. I seen Gaels at few matchs this year and yesterday they didn't play to best, mayb decisions on line cost them.
I still think rath will win it, taught blackhall would of been only team to stop them

Kilskeer were very wasteful in the quarter against Rathmolyon. They could have had 3 or 4 goals in first half. Rathmolyon took their chances well and pulled clear with the help of M Cole frees. Their full back line is suspect and it maybe something Athboy could take advantage of in semi.
Overall I think both semi's will be close but I think it will be Athboy Tones final with Athboy just edging it.

Apologies Hootervillian. Work with a lad from athboy and both he and I always call the club athboy. I suppose its the fact they used to be such a strong club all by themselves, that I forget that they're struggling as an amalgamation now. I cant remember now, but when they joined up did Rath cairn have a junior A team at the time? sorry off topic now

From a hurling point of view the traditionalists will always call it Athboy that is just a fact of life. Similiar to Aviva always being called
the Lansdowne or rodney being called dave.

Its a pity they fixed the IHC semi between athboy (sorry Clann Na Geal) and Rathmoylan for the same time as the Senior Final between Longwood and Killyon. Would liked to have seen both

Fairly sure no-one playing hurling for Clann na nGael has any real issue whether you call it Athboy or Clann na nGael, it's hardly even worth discussing. Haven't seen Dunderry at all year so don't know what they're like really. Did they not get beaten fairly heavily in their second game by Kilmessan?

I'd say Clann na nGael will win but a close game. I seen Rathmolyon playing earlier in the year and they weren't that good.

Why is the Senior hurling in Páirc Tailteann at 3:30 and the Intermediate in Trim at 5? A double header would have been nice or at least allow more time between games.

Loinne- There are two senior hurling semi finals in Pairc Tailteann on Saturday. Intermediate couldn't have been played later because of lack of daylight so cb prob had no choice with timing.
