Dunderry are a poor side but could yet get to a final.. Not that I think it will happen.. I think Tones are very much underestimated..

Why do kilskyre and blackhall have to play again? Would it not make more sense to do it on score difference without the navan results included? Are they just looking for a winter final!!!

Its because NOM gave a walkover therefore by rules scoring difference cannot count. They appearantly offered a tos of coin but play off now week of q/f

Well it is not ideal to have such an important match the week of q/f's but thats only my opinion. I think both kilskyre and blackhall are afraid of rathmolyn hence the agreement to play the game. Our club not one bit worried as we have beaten them already so ye better be afraid as ye will have to play us yet........ Dunderry abu

Ye there both still through, i wouldnt say there worried about dunderry and only worried about rath because of mikey cole and how he can rule a game

While the palyoff still needs to be played, we know the final six remaining in the competition. Anyone fancies to call it, semi final pairings, final pairing and outright winners....... My call is as follows,

Semi Final
Dunderry v Wolfe Tones
Clan Na Gael v Rathmolyn

Final
Dunderry v Clan Na Gale

Winners
Dunderry.........

SHIVERMETIMBER are you TOMMY TIERNAN BY ANYCHANCE BECAUSE YOUR A VERY FUNNY MAN.. i wouldnt be the biggest follower of hurling in the last few yrs but i have to say you speak pure rubbish!!! you say dunderry can win the championship while openly dismiss any chances of wolfetones (WHO IN MY OPINION HAVE AS GOOD A CHANCE AS ANY TEAM LEFT).. I THINK THEY WOULD BE QUITE INSULTED TO BE CALLED SOFT.THEY HAVE BIG STRONG MEN LIKE MEADE,MACKEN,SHEPPARD,CALLAGHHAN AND MANY MORE WHO WOULD GIVE THERE ALL AND HAVE PLENTY OF BIG MATCH EXPERIANCE IN BOTH GAA CODES!!!.. THEY HAVE THREE COUNTY FOOTBALLERS WHO MISSED BOTH CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES AGAINST DUNDERRY IN 2011 AND THIS YR.. I have heard they only lost to rathmoloyn and they were missing 4/5 players who didnt play against kilmessan.. they have as good a chance as anyone..

Is this for real, Many thanks for the compliment on being as funy as the main man Tommy. But seriously I am sorry that I upset you. The CAPITAL letters means you are shouting I think.... Look it is all personal opinion and I am obviously going to big up my own club. But equally the tones were lucky to get out of jail v dunderry in the group stages, they were also lucky not to get a whipping from rathmoyln, lucky to escape against kildalkey. Are they missing players, interesting if they are.

Are you forgetting Kildalkey gave Dunderry a good beating in group stage. If they did not lose 5 players to the senior team they would be in the hunt. Just saying I dont think Dunderry will get within as Asses roar of winning Intermediate Hurling championship

Ive been watching this going on and on and on so here is my spit in a can ,
Lads i have seen both groups playing and i will admit the winners should come from the group of Wolfe tones, dunderry, and rath. all teams are improving with each game, i know dunderry have a new manager from what i hear is doing good work, a trim man (same as clan na gaels it will be fun if they meet) a good team with blend of youth and experience. Wolfe tones have brian meade back but been able to run does not make you a good hurler, shepard and the harringhton bros are good hurlers , rath have the cole bros who are all game winners. i understand rath were very lucky against dunderry!! wolfe tones were unlucky against rath!! and dunderry were unlucky against wolfe tones. so if you ask me its alot closer than you think !!!!

How are Kilskyre allowed give another team a walkover in a Championship playoff? Sure that's blatant picking and choosing who you want to play in the knockout stages. Oh only in Meath

Rathmolyon have got their act together and will run out easy winners of the intermediate. They are flying at the moment and are the only traditional
stick men left in the intermediate championship.

Well it is Clan na Gael and not Athboy who are left in the competiton.
But lets face it there must be some guys down in Athboy with 4 intermediate medals.
How can a town of that size including the surrounding areas not sustain a senior hurling team.
