Rathmolyon to win Intermediate. Standard fairly poor at this grade, possibly Blackhall Gaels to challenge them. Clann ma nGael and Kilskyre are poor teams this year. Of all the teams Rathmolyon woul be best equipped to hold their own at Senior next year and improve.

id hate to see blackhall win it, i think wolfe tones could cause a shock and i wudnt write off athboy either,but overall rathmolyon look to be favourites.maybe a repeat of the 1993 senior final is in store with wolfe tones v rathmolyon?

Good win for Athboy last night and go straight into semi's as group winners. Kilskyne and Blackhall drew but both still into quarters.

As far as I know the quarter finals will be played Sunday the 16th September. It will look like Rathmolyn will finish top along with Athboy, so any idea how tonights games will go and what likely Q/F pairings will be?. My own club Dunderry up against it V Rathmolyn and cant see a victory.

Must admit I was very wrong on suggesting Dunderry would lose to Rathmolyn. Great draw and now qualifies us for quarter finals v blackhall. Talk about a tight group. Some victory for Wolfe Tones V Kilmessan and real surprise that they topped the group but must be a sign thta Kilmessan were very bad. Could Dunderry win it outright now, could be our name on the trophy....

Don't see how Dunderry aren't favorites for the championship now,they wer unlucky not to win last night and look to be coming good at the right time.Wolfe tones don't have the hurling for the real championship stuff,its between CNG,Rathmolyon and Dunderry now

Why do Blackhall and Kilskyre have to have a playoff, If 2 teams are on same points it goes on head to head, if both teams finished in a draw it goes on points difference. Blackhall are clearly in front so that is clear. Dunderry to win it anyway, I can feel it in my bones.

Id agree with previous posters, Wolfe Tones just dont have the bottle for the serious stages of championship and they dont have the experience. Clan na Gael Dunderry final and dunderry winners,

It will be a playoff as a walkover occurred in the group and scores for don't count then. Blackhall Gaels to win it out. Rathmolyon not playing well enough. Dunderry have no chance, they're butchers!! All other teams left are average but could pull off a scalp by getting to the final.

Apologies but forgot NOM gave a walkover so scoring difference does not count. Cant really stand by the accusation that Dunderry are butchers. We have qualified for the q/f's on merit. As for Blackhall to win it outright, if ye end up beating Kilskyre ye will play us then so we will see who will qualify for semis. Either way winners of that semi will qualify for final as Wolfe Tones are too soft and will go no further....
