Good idea lads but you cant really fix a game on the basis of two teams beating two other teams, if you get my drift! But this certainly should be looked at if they really want this grade to survive into the future. NAIL_BAR (Meath) - Posts: 457 - 08/06/2012 12:58:55 1189668 Link 0 |

Best of luck tomorrow night it will be tough, few injuries and changes to be made from the last day I suspect. tackleberry (Meath) - Posts: 324 - 12/06/2012 12:07:35 1192529 Link 0 |

Can Colm O'Rourke now play for the Meath juniors. Although, how is he playing with Simonstown, I don't ever remember a transfer from Skryne. Perhaps I'm wrong on that one. Roger (Meath) - Posts: 480 - 12/06/2012 14:25:22 1192691 Link 0 |
good luck tonight lads, disappointed they didn't put this fixture on before either the kildare v offaly or the meath v carlow replay. BettystownRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 3353 - 13/06/2012 15:27:20 1193579 Link 0 |
i would like to wish the juniors the best of luck tonight ,it is a credit to all involved, hopefully we can get a win over kildare, and show the banty how it is done, because someone needs to give him a wake up call, as he was releived to get a draw with carlow," joke", baker (Meath) - Posts: 36 - 13/06/2012 16:07:55 1193630 Link 0 |

Great game in Newbridge tonight. Kildare scrape home by a point 0-10 to 0-9. Hard luck to Meath. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 3038 - 13/06/2012 20:55:11 1193879 Link 0 |
Kildare score 1 point in the first half and Meath score 1 point in the second half, unreal stuff. Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3749 - 13/06/2012 21:46:24 1193924 Link 0 |
Was talking to a lad who was at the match last night and he said Meath were very unlucky. 8-1 up at half-time and coasting but the ref gave Kildare a few handy close range frees early in the second half to bring them back into the game and then they got a bit of a run on Meath. SeanOg are Kildare looking to poach players away from Syddan now as well?I know the lures of Time Nightclub in Naas might entice many a young man to Kildare but you'll find it hard to get a Syddan man to leave the Newtown Country Club behind!! boots96 (Meath) - Posts: 95 - 14/06/2012 10:53:59 1194034 Link 0 |

I agree fearbeag - the Junior is only a feeder team anyway for lads on the fringes or those good enough to play above their club's level of Junior or Intermediate. Carroll is clearly in the Senior management team's thoughts if he was in the 20 used the first day. To be holding players back for a competition clearly dying on it's feet is a ludicrous notion altogether. Plenty of lads there to make up the numbers and represent their county. We're out of the Junior - hardly the end of the world The_Ripper (Meath) - Posts: 184 - 14/06/2012 11:50:07 1194083 Link 0 |
Fair point lads... and your certainly right when you say Carroll is one for the future and hopefully he will see action against Carlow the next day. But im not sure if he would be fit to mix it in midfield instead of Gillespie at senior intercounty level at the moment. Thunderstruck (Meath) - Posts: 474 - 14/06/2012 12:39:18 1194131 Link 0 |
