Congratulations! Andy McEntee is working great stuff with the young lads. I'd love to see him as senior manager but from the perspective of youth development perhaps we would be best served if he worked with these lads for a couple of years?

Fantastic win for the lads. Not too familiar with many of the players to be honest but we will definately see a lot of them in the future. Also great to see some of the lads from the senior set up supporting them aswell.

A few of the lads ho did well last year are still there, however we still have to meet either Kildare or Dublin and at the end of the day, there are only really 3 footballing counties in Leinster so lets judge the team after 22 July.

Young McEntee had an operation. Will he be back for the Leinster final? Also where was Paddy Kennelly last night, two of our better players. Also young Wallace from Ratoath, know he had athletic reasons but he looked the part in League games. One way or the other we have a lot of talent on our hands.

I think the 8 provincial finalists go into quarter-finals with winners v runner-ups as the quarters but I could be wrong

i hope dublin beat kildare ! there would be probably the biggest crowd ever for a leinster minor final ! either way best of luck to the boys , have great ambitions in them , hopefully both teams have something to cheer about come july 22nd

Meath Minors have a great chance of doing something special this year , heard Walllace was treated very unfairly and definitely should be back in there for the leinster final , also with Mcentee and Kennelly back and if the management bring Wallace back , further damage willl be done in the Minor championship.

Wallace wasn't treated unfairly, he preferred to be elsewhere so let him off to it, there's better players than him there anyway in my opinion. With McEntee and Kenelly back I reckon we can stand up to either Kildare or Dublin if Meath play the way they can

I agree Wallace was not treated unfairly. Apparently he has been offered an athletics scholarship with either DCU or UCD and if so well then the best of luck to him in his chosen sport. We still have some excellent young footballers on this current panel and Andy McEntee is doing a wonderful job with these lads. While they will go in as underdogs against either Dublin or Kildare in the LF I believe with Shane Mc and Paddy Kenneally back in starting line up they will not be far away. I also agree with earlier poster who hoped that Andy McEntee would in time become the Senior manager. There is hardly a more committed and passionate coach out there at the moment.

Greenwood you talk a lot of sense! Andy is a great manager, interesting to see what will happen next although I do agree with a previous post that maybe the younger lads need a bit of work for a few years before he focuses on the seniors. I also think the minors feel they didn't play as well as they could have last time they faced Dublin in the league final and if given a chance to play them again, I think this will spur them on and hopefully they can overcome them this time!

the meath minors will be wanting Wallace back after they get hammered in the leinster final by eder kildare or Dublin meath bet a very poor westmeath side kildare played westmeath in a challenge game a couple of weeks ago and bet them very easily with there second team and i was at that match that meath defense wont be able to keep up with the kildare or dublin forwards. i heard a few lads saying Wallace wouldn't get back in the team he would walk into that full forward line

exactly and if the boys are on form i dont see a "hammering" coming from either dublin or kildare. they are a group of really passionate and talented lads, lets not forget what happened when everyone doubted the seniors against kildare. #coybig

Yeh best of luck to the minors, if they give it everything of course they have a great chance. There will be great support there cheering them on. All we want to see is pride and passion in the Meath jersey.
