Great display they played some great football and showed great guts . I was very impressed with a lot of the Meath players it would be unfair to single out any player but there were 3 or 4 i was very impressed with I think we have a lot to look forward to with this bunch of players . Well done to everyone , also what a great stadium and pitch O'Connor park is fit to host any game .

Great win for the lads. Very strong all over the field. Hartman and Flanagan dominated in the middle. Backs superb as were the forwards.

The Meath lads wont be able to stay balanced for the next month as there heads will be so big They probobally will get to lienster final and the same will happen to them as what happened last years team. Dublin are a mile ahead of them and kildare are also miles ahead of them. Handy draws is what is keeping them in it. Beating a poor Longford team(who got destroyed by dublin today) by two points and a average over sized Offaly team.

Your some supporter alright, we have a minor team who are improving and learning and have a great chance of reaching and winning a Leinster title and yet you dismiss them as being kept in it by handy draws!!! If that is your thinking, and your willing to publish such thinking, then I suggest the Minor team and county as a whole is better off without your so called support

richieq, you have no right to decide who supports your county, its his opinion and a lot of that opinion is probably correct!!

How did they get a handy draw?
They had to travel to Longford and Tullamore, not an easy feat, especially at minor level, and beat what was in front of them. Also Offaly would have been one of the strongest sides in Leinster bolstered by their Ferbane schools team and their All Ireland champion Edenderry team. Fair play to the lads.

The minors seem to be getting set up for a good run as like last year a good panel of lads but sure a decent manager this year in McEntee seems to be doing the trick

Eh I have not decided as you state I have suggested, I am equally entitled to my opinion and as a Meath supporter on these pages I will do so and I choose to disagree strongly with the comments made. You and big joe wouldn't be related now would you??
