Christ that is some group of death in the senior hurling, every team that reached the knockout stages this year in one section together....going to be some fierce, fierce competition in there.... CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1741 - 13/02/2012 21:21:23 1111207 Link 0 |

Group B looks toughest in Senior..There should be a few good matches in that one. In Intermediate, A and C are both difficult groups. C in particular looks to be most competitive with carnaross, castletown etc. Can't wait for the start seamusmac (Meath) - Posts: 379 - 14/02/2012 08:21:40 1111249 Link 0 |

Senior Q finalists S'Hill, Don/Ash, St Pat's, Tones, Skryne, Dunshaughlin or Simonstown, O Mahoney's and Rathkenny. Wont be much interestin group stages with majority of results very predictable Analyst (Meath) - Posts: 1514 - 14/02/2012 10:31:32 1111296 Link 0 |

Is it just me or does it say Kilmainham have entered a team into the Junior 2 hurling championship? Surely it's meant to be St. Patricks if anything... CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1741 - 14/02/2012 11:16:35 1111319 Link 0 |

i predict big upsets in a and c group. cant be upsets in group b as teams are fairly evenly matched. for me nobber summerhill st pats, dunboyne tones and walterstown and group c any pair. I stand to be corrected as I think bits even more open than ever to win a championship aces (Meath) - Posts: 162 - 14/02/2012 14:50:29 1111480 Link 0 |

Senior hurling group A, this i think will improve the standard in the county championship, no more loosing 2 games i reckon and reaching the knock out stage, so i predict the following, round winners will be Trim, Kilmessan and Kildalkey with kilmessan kildalkey and kiltale to qualify from the group, who tops the group god only knows, i fear for the teams in group B (no disrespect) as the teams that qualify from group A will be firing on all cylindes i guess so whoever ends up in a qtr final from group B will be a long way off the pace of the supposed big guns, can see 3 of the semi final teams coming from group A and the eventual winners also coming from group A with Kells relegated from senior, big ask of the champions to acheive 4 in a row, thats my thoughts, lets hope the organisers allow us to see all the big games by arranging fixtures to suit the paying public. No harm but anyone who thinks that Nobber or Walterstown will qualify to knockout stages of the SFC is on medication or the standard has dropped a lot more than i thought and i believe as i said before it has plummeted in the past 2 years Analyst (Meath) - Posts: 1514 - 14/02/2012 16:38:08 1111583 Link 0 |

Analyst you may change that name!! Walterstown have made the knockout stages the last two years, so saying ppl who say they may qualify for medication is nonsensical and belittles the role of medication . To open the thoughts of championship 2012 by putting down Walterstown and Nobber who are training away is negative at best, , Also the blacks bet Skryne who were in their group last year, and have beaten Dunshaughlin (2yr ago) and Simonstown (3or4 year ago) the last times also played in Championship, So good as chance as anyone!! Mon the Blacks and Nobber!! Blackbeard (Meath) - Posts: 2 - 14/02/2012 18:21:50 1111674 Link 0 |

I am not putting anyone down, just being a realist, i happened to be in Navan for the Q finallast year against a Tones side who are a pale shadow of a few years back and it was as one sided a match as i was ever at, I know a lot of people from Nobber and have seen them a few times and they are not up to it, Pat's i think will be the surprise packets in a championship that should be Don Ash as they have far superior players in quality and quantity than other clubs Analyst (Meath) - Posts: 1514 - 15/02/2012 11:17:17 1111983 Link 0 |

analyst, change your name. your as on the ball as a fish up a tree, a big tree. football has been improving with better facilities, more educated coaches, physios, video analysis, gym programmes to say but a few. players are fitter and more clinical. if you look back ten yrs to when selectors came down for five mins in the middle of training and had a smoke at the side while havin a chat. aces (Meath) - Posts: 162 - 15/02/2012 13:23:33 1112141 Link 0 |
