can also see big wins for Ashbourne and Duleek..

Duleek drew with Nobber last night in Simonstown. Not great football played but was very entertaining, the Duleek full back played very well on Brian Farell who was very disappointing however he was very unlucky to have a point from a free disallowed. He was flagged by the lines man for taking too many steps before kicking the free, which was very harsh. He was then sent off for a straight red shortly after for an off the ball incident. Duleek corner forward played very well too.

Duleek had chances at the end to win it but shot wide.

any other Reports from tonight?

Would anyone think Walterstown at 3/1 to beat Wolfe Tones is good value?? Any word on both teams? How are they fairing this year?

I think Summerhill have the young players and the strength to do it again

I don't know Farrell doesn't seem to be good enough for county level anymore, plus he is getting more red cards.. Surprised Nobber drew though..

I was in Kells last night, as a neutrul expecting to see a very close encounter, however O Mahonys were way too strong for Oldcastle. They seemed particularly hungry even when the game was over they never stopped pressing their opponents. They have virtually an inter-county pick. I was talking to an O Mahonys supporter who said they were without Barry Regan, McGuinness, Ward, David Bray and Niall McKeigue. Darragh Smith who has been on the county panel this year could not get on thier team even missing so many regulars. So i assumed he was injured too, but he came on and got a couple of nice points so he was obviously not selected! They also brought on a couple of lads that were on the county u21 team whos names escape me. Makes you wonder what have they been at for the last number of years?

Stephen Bray plays better for Meath than he does for his club.

Summerhill 2-17 St Patricks 1-7

Summerhill were quality but Pats looked absolutely clueless and lacked any plan up front. Summerhill completely dominated Pats at midfield and the Pats keeper's kick outs did them absolutely no favours.

Wolf Tones 0-12
Walterstown 0-8

A bit of a suprise that Simonstown beat Skryne.
(Theese results were taken from the Meath GAA website)

Any sign of Davy Dalton playing??

At the moment Summerhill are the best team in Meath, yet only one player is on the county panel(and isn't good enough)

A few rare results this weekend, Dunboyne against Dunshaughlin and Simonstown against Skryne etc, Summerhill still look the best bet alright

Brian did what needed to be done. The Summerhill forwards as a unit are outstanding. Conor stood out at midfield caught a serious amount of ball and was a constant danger through the middle. To be fair Willie and Davy had a bit to do in the first half as the Landy's looked dangerous but the Pats corner forwards were nearly out at the 45 when gathering the ball such was the system they were playing. It was a large gap to bridge.

Why is it that Summerhill haven't really had a regular starter on the Meath starting 15 in the past few years, yet they've been one of the stongest teams in the County in that time period???

Why can't Gillespie show that at county level?

Can anyone explain to me how Seamus Kenny managed to stay on the field yesterday against Skryne? He blatently punched Skryne half back on the side of the head - drew his arm back, swung and connected with a punch that could be heard in the stand. All this was while both the lines-man and ref were watching from less than 10 yards away...and he got a yellow card???

Is this just because he's on the meath panel? because even from the reaction of Seamus after he threw the punch, he thought himself he was going to get a straight red, which he clearly deserved.
