You've just done exactly what you've told everyone else not to do & given him the reaction he was looking for. He's actually smart enough setting little traps in his posts to see who'll notice. For instance I think (could be wrong) that because the All-Ireland final went to a replay in 96 that it was too late for Kilmainhamwood to enter in Leinster by the time they won it. This definitely happened in 99 when Skryne beat Dunshaughlin in November.

as for the Leinster club championship and the point youve raised re: 96 & 99, does anyone know how many years we've failed to put a team into Leinster due to our own championship finishing late?

not sure how many times we failed to field but didn't the O'Mahonys teams of the 80s have some 24 hour turn arounds? Similiar issue in 2009 with Sen town if I'm right (2/3 day turnaround).

Yeah I think Seneschalstown had 2/3 days alright after the midweek replay.

Happened the Wexford champs the same year or in 08 didnt it? Leinster fixture fixed for the day after the county final or something similar

In 1996 dunderry represented meath in the leinster club as our championship wasnt over in time and they had won the keegan cup in 95 and were nominated by the co. board. That rule was then changed a few years later so that you could not nominate a team to play in club championships it had to be the current champions.
