One thing is for sure, the NOM defence will have to be really disciplined in going about their jobs. They know that anywhere in the last third of the pitch is a scoring area for Ward, he's far more dangerous when he's able to compose himself to kick a free than he is in open play, every free they concede will be converted....

While the Tones might not have a very potent full forward line they are far from a one man team....

If O'Mahonys play to their potential then they should win. If their defence can avoid conceding kickable frees than "the Keegan" will spend Sunday night in Navan. It 'll be close though.

Best of luck to both teams

Best of luck to both teams tomorrow, I would expect O'Mahonys to shade it, but if The Tones are on top form you never know..

I completely agree with Header33. Congratulations to NOM on their victory, but that was a very poor game.

Wasnt any worse than the 2006 final between the same 2 teams. Congrats to O Mahonys. Great team performance. Great club. Congrats as well to na fianna on a great win in the intermediate. they will go places at senior. good for football in Meath to have another south meath senior.

Classapart i was impressed with Stephen bray solid performance but I left wondering would he still have seventy mins at inter county level, still think David is way off match fitness but thats to be expected, thought Ward was usual hot and cold his quick thinking to go for goal with quick free was genius and if had it paid off we woud all be talking about it
Collins was a little bit disappointing maybe just i expected a bit more but one thing whoever the keeper is for nom should be looked at by new management

Classapart sory left out jamie queeney thought he had a good game in inter also his brother would be worthy addition, and something about young Hendricks that caught my eye has great potential what age is he btw?

yes it was a disappointing game for neutrals but NOM wont worry about that, The goal after 30 secs settled the town side and completely rattled the tones and they were chasing the game after that. When you play in a county final you dream about getting a start like that, it dictated the rest of the game The tones defence was caught napping for it big time. Whether it was the good start or what but some of the navan lads who didnt play well in the semi were much better yesterday, they were on top of their immediate opponent in most positions, with the exception of stephen corrigan, thought he was excellent and by far the best midfielder on view in navan yesterday. At 29 its probably too late to be brought into a county set up but i think its a shame he hasnt played inter county in the last few years. Dont know what others think but i thought david coldrick was a bit hard on the tones a few times especially especially fiachra ward.
