Something I have noticed which amazes me is every time predictions are asked about the senior games is the amount of people who predict the Tones will be beaten, yet they seldom are. Am i right in detecting a bit of jealousy there ? As far as i remember the semi final last year was the only game they lost and nobody has managed to beat them this year yet. In fairness thats a pretty consistent record. They are the only Team north of the boyne which has any hope of winning the senior in the next couple of years. Even in the intermediate the three top teams look to be the 3 south meath teams.

o mahonys looking good, despite the amount of wides they kicked, game was scrappy though, and we all thought the lights would go out...literally!!..thankfully some one had a spare bulb in their pocket!

Seneschalstown looked very good v summerhill. Big joe scored a cracker in first half. Ref made a few strange decisions in 2nd half

Brave statement that Simonstown haven't a hope, they are in better form now than in any time in the past few years and thats without their two county "stars". O mahoneys are nowhere near the side they were a couple of years back and everyone knows how over hyped they were so wouldn't be over cocky about the hoops, S'Hill should be too strong for a fading Seneschalstown side, If Don/Ash can't account for this Dunboyne side then they may throw their hat at it. Most interesting one is Tones and Pats, it would be of little surprise to me if Pat's were to take Tones, Pat's are no bad side and Tones like Seneschalstown are fading fast

You are great at predictions!!!

Just my opinions, was in navan last night and there was little between the sides with simonstowns failure to take goal chances in the opening half proving crucial. 16 wides and the concession of 2 goals in a minute swung the other match. At least I stated my opinions before hand, plenty of lads on here wise after the event. ...

If you read what I said, simonstown cut through o mahoneys defence 3 times in opening half, had they taken any of those chances or indeed the one that came off tie crossbar in the second half then the game was in the melting pot. O mahoneys better team no doubt but not that much between them

I See Pats were beaten 0-06 to 0-11 , hard luck to them as they are a commited bunch , plus they have the league final soon ...

Great result by the Tones , difficult to pick a winner this year !!!
