Seanie Dalton is an out-and-out corner forward. He is excellent at taking up good positions, has serious pace and can score. Could never see him playin corner back though ?

Pat's beat Ashbourne 2-10 to 0-09 in Seneschalstown tonight. Pat's played great but Ashbourne didn't look good at all. It was pretty much dark at the end of the match with a 18.30 throw in and I see a load of Junior B matches fixed for 18.30 and 20.00 during the week, these games will have to get re-fixed.

Was in brews hill this eve for tones game, what a super display of negative football by dunboyne.the fouling was intensive and constant.so they got there draw,( tones kicked too many wides in the first half) but if this is the way teams must adapt ,then im afraid not only will it turn supporters off ,players will get fed up with it too.

Didnt see that St Pats result coming at all, Ashbourne probably wont have the spine to win it out. Could Pats have the strength in depth to go all the way?

I was at the Dunboyne v Tones match on sat eve and the tactics of Dunboyne were disgraceful, neck high challenges and pulling and swinging out of players. The refereeing was very poor as at least 2 Dunboyne players should have got line.It was a poor match due to the tactics and would not encourage anyone to attend games.

as far as i can see:
Don/ash
Summerhil
St Pats
O'Mahonys
Seneschalstown
Wolfe Tones,
Dunboyne

These are the qaulified teams with Simonstown and Walterstown playing off for the last Q/F place.
Summerhill and O'Mahonys look strongest at this moment in time i would suggest !

Agree with 69er hard to look past Summerhill and O Mahonys. St. Pats might be the surprise package. They have been going well in the league and beat Don Ash on Saturday.

Pats are a dogged team with some dangerous forwards .. cant see them winning it on a count of strength in depth problems!

Cormac Sully won't complain being called a 'dangerous forward' -

The way he's plugging goals for Pat's he should be back in at no.14 for the Meath Seniors next year -
and meybe even do the 'Nudie' Hughes on it - be the second man to win an All-Star at the back and Forward!

I doubt Summerhill will make it to final but they will have a good kick at it.

Dunboyne already qualified. Did they throw todays game against Skryne to avoid playing O Mahonys?

was at dunboyne v skryne game and dunboyne definatly did not throw the game wat a silly comment. the 1st half cost them. a goalkeeping error for 1st goal and 2nd half they came flyin out of the blocks and were well on top apart from 2 more silly mistakes for goals. skyrne played well and deserved to win and very disrespectful to them claiming that they only won cuz dunboyne threw the game
