What do you honestly think Meath can achieve?

Alright, going by the betting we're the 8th best team in the country.

No.7 Tyrone. Beaten them before and we'd beat them again if we met them

No.6 Kildare, got that little monkey off our back

No.5 Mayo. Similar to Thrown, we've beaten them before and I wouldn't fear playing them again as they don't have the mental strength to beat us

No.4 Donegal. This is where the big hitters come into play and the team I'd least like to play is Donegal. Their game is all about stifling and limiting good fowards and that's what were all about, getting quick ball in and into space which would be limited against Donegal. I don't think we'd have the tactical know how to deal with them

No.3 Kerry. Write them off at your peril. At the same time I think their keys players are on the demise and our young, fearless team could give them around around and wouldn't fear team like previous Kerry teams.

No.2 Dublin. We shall on Sunday 2 weeks but they hold no fear or surprises for us, although Gilroy will have learned from the 2010 hammering.

No.1 Cork. Best team out there and dont think we'd beat them tbh. Bit of a rivalry still there, but we'd give them a good game i think but avoid at all costs. until the AI Final of course!

Thats where were at imo

Donegal and Cork I just can't see us beating no matter how well we play and that's why I'd give us no chance for an all-ireland this year. We could reach a semi but there would be a lot at stake by then and I don't think the players could do it just like the last 2 semi's against Kerry and Cork.

Teams I think we almost certainly would lose to:

Cork
Kerry
Donegal

Teams where there would be only a point or two in it either way:

Dublin
Kildare if we meet again
Tyrone
Down
Mayo

Here's hoping if we dont beat the dubs that we get a bit of luck where we avoid those first 3 teams at least.

What am I saying. Sure we'll take the dubs easy... (joke)

On the morning of the Kildare game like a blushing bride I got cold feet but am not happy with a Leinster Final appearance and hungary for more. As I honestly said on 7th Jan I never would back against Meath v Dublin in a Leinster Final.

We could easily lose to the likes of Laois (who we could play next week) too..

There is no way Meath would beat Cork, lads in the last few years we have beaten Tyrone,Mayo,Dublin and now Kildare, but the previous 3 results were false dawns,as Giles says,we cannot say the good old days are back, until we compete in a consistent way,as I said before if we lose sunday,we could be out by next saturday evening!

I said I'd never back against Meath v Dublin but we really got a pasting for a lot of the game and still got within touching distance at the end.

Silly mistakes and wrong options taken at times, Joe once again was back to his poor self beaten for every ball and then brought out to midfield caught a couple and that will make it ok for the rose tinters. his drop kick attempt was faricial. Keoghan was brillant.

We can and will beat Laois
