Nah the dubs in the first round proper is the perfect draw.
Play a decent team in the preliminary round, get a win under the belt, then meet the dubs in their first game.
The best time to play all Ireland champions is in the first game.
Remember Offaly v us in 2000. Monaghan v Armagh in 03.

The Dubs usually kick more wides than scores first day out. It would be great to catch them cold if Meath have a game under their belts. Bring it on.

Will the draw mean more and more experimentation in not just the O'Bryne cup but the league as well now. Would a tougher draw have forced Banty's hand ... to field stronger and a settled side sooner rather than later in the league. And make a much better push for promotion. Unlike last year, I'd like us to start the championship knowing our best team.

Beat Wicklow and were pretty much guaranteed a semi final against Kildare. Leinster final should be dublin v kildare/meath could be a cracker either way.
