Cian has rubbished the rumour on his twitter page. Was it not clear this was untrue when no stories were posted on HS? Children making up rubbish! Triple H (Meath) - Posts: 551 - 08/06/2011 20:49:08 951083 Link 0 |
Glad it's not true! Cian Ward is one of the classiest forwards in the country, and if Meath are to have any success, he'll be part of it. Loyal2TheRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 4522 - 08/06/2011 21:03:28 951100 Link 0 |

This type of stupid rumour highlights exactly the devious streak some people have, spreading a rumour about a player leaving a panel to heighten the sense that everything has gone to hell in a handcart and the squad is in turmoil, people where churning the rumour mill the same way when McGuinness left yet he had genuine reasons unrelated to anything within the squad. What sort of so-called supporter of Meath GAA would do such things? I have to say that I read with humour some of the comments about the return of Graham Geraghty, from what I can see so far his return has been very positive, not just from a playing perspective but as a guide and leader in the dressing room and his pep-talk to the other substitutes last Sunday was a very positive thing to see. I would not be in the least bit suprised that in addition to continuing to play he is announced as a new selector in the days to come. Cian Ward is one of the best forwards in the county, he is worthy of his place on the squad, hoping players like him leave the squad is the kind of devisive thinking that can ruin a county. Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3749 - 09/06/2011 10:31:49 951268 Link 0 |
How many players can you say sustained their presence for 70 minutes last Sunday? Ah I jumped the gun to fair(when usually I don't),but it seems every rumour involving Meath of late has being true! So I owe Cian an apolagy to be fair.. I guess an awful lot of things that have gone on have made us slightly upset. Wonder how the rumour started.. Anyway let's hope Cian works hard and forces himself back on the team.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 10/06/2011 13:35:53 952326 Link 0 |
