Totaly disagree with meathgaa18, count and redser123. Ye Moynalvey lost to dunboyne but dunboyne lost to ashbourne a team which moynalvey beat and you cant blame a loss on injuries i heard moynalvey where missing a few for the dunboyne game and also i heard that dunboyne set up shop like donegal. So if ye want to give out on score difference then ashbourne shouldnt have been in the semi but clearly ye wont cause ye musnt like seeing rural clubs beatnig town teams. plus moynalvey got the tougher draw and beat the second favourites for the championship and i hope they go on and win it as i am from a rural club also and im sick of seeing town teams win the championship every year.

Dunboyne only beat ratoath by 3 points and that was in the minor league!!! which ratoath finished bottom off but are now in the championship final and not dunboyne, and speaking of dunboyne having injuries ratoath were missing brian mcmahon, collie mccollugh, dara kelly, mark daly and fiachra dolan that day against dunboyne who are all starters

Redser....dunboyne lost out on score difference because head to heah could not be used as 4 teams finished on 4 points. It was unfortunate for them but Moynalvey have proved they a good team by beating Simonstown in semi. Also another poster mentions Dunboyne beating Ratoath earlier this year which was in the league and has no relevance to championship.

I see a few Ratoath posters adamant that Moynalvey favourites for final. I detect fear there.Maybe its because they were overwhelming favourites last year and lost. Ratoath will be favourites and deservedly so on their form. However Moynalvey will give them a great match and may even beat them.

hear expert moynalvey will win by at least 6 or 7 points..i heard eamon wallace is struggling with a hamstring injury i dont no if this is true but if it is he will be a massive loss for ratoath.and dunboyne wouldent get within 15 points of ratoath now if they played.

yes i would also agree that ratoath would be strong favorites, not many people in the country could stop brian mcmahon.

Strange.... Was told Eamonn Wallace played for the Meath u17s today. Must have recovered quick from the pulled hamstring

Ratoath by about five points. Saw both teams this year. Ratoath have a more rounded team. Moynalvey have some really fine individual players.
Two best teams in Championship so should be a good final.

Moynalvey to win this one easy Ratoath are a cocky enough shower when they get on a roll so i expect an 7-10 point victory for Moynalvey with Cathal McCabe the main threat they wont be stopped...... super footballer

big dog 222......On 08/10/2011 at 11;29;37 you say Ratoath gave brilliant display in beating Ashbourne and yet later same day 20;00;54 your wondering how much Moynalvey will beat Ratoath by...why the contradiction?

Moynalvey are goin nowhere after they completely robbed simonstown the opportunity to compete in the minor final after some shocking referee decisions. At this rate we might aswell pack in minor football in this county. Absolutely outraged!

This will be an entrieging battle between the two best teams in the county by a mile. I think the difference between the two sides will be the highly talented and rated Cathal Mc Cabe, he wil run midfield for moynalvey and he will contribute at least 1-3 for moynalvey.
