Ratoath, dunboyne, don/ash and simonstown all won. Dunboyne unlucky after great victory last night lose out on score diff. Semis are rathoath v don/ash simonstown v Moynalvey. Looks like rathoath simonstown final.

dunboyne were very unlucky. they beat moynalvey by 8 points but they are out on score diffrence by 1 point. they would beat any team in division 1 with a display like last night.

Looking at john's previous posts I'd say he's more of a rathoath man than Moynalvey. Weren't they in dunganny too.

Ratoath hammered ashbourne last night 1-15 to 1-6 even with ashbourne getting a dodgy penalty and a few frees, so its a ratoath Vs monynaly final now

brilliant display of football from ratoath last night they showed there quality by beating ashbourne by 9 points. it will take a very good team to beat them now.

give over lads !! fair enough ratoath were deserving winners... but what about the sending off??? what about ashbourne missing 2 goal chances wen game was still in the balance... at the end of the day ratoath kicked less that 4 wides and ashbourne kicked about 10 or more... so calm down their i reckon moynalvey are clear favourites in the final... bobby o brien had average game kicked alot of ball away until he went out to the middle n caught some nice ball... serious full forward line wi mcmahon o brien n wallace but ratoath are average from midfield back...

Anyone able to post a roll of honour for the minor championship going back 25 years...maybe finalists also. im sure anyone with a programme from a final in the last few years could do it.

Agree. Moynalvey will definitely be favourites in the final. When will it be on?

Looking at the game last ratoath look a very good team, very impressed with inside fowards. They still start red hot favourites for the final, as they have been since u12 and up. Must be confident now all the traditional rivals are gone. But I see ratoath lads on here trying to play mind games and say Moynalvey favourites. One thing from looking at this tread, ratoath seem to have complex over Moynalvey from start of championship lads from ratoath seem to talk about Moynalvey for no real reason. Just makes me wonder! And ratoath were red hot favourites last year as well and well that didn't quite work out did it.

Say what you like, Ratoath won by an impressive 9 points with Ashbourne only coming to within 5 points at any time and Ratoath had 3 goal chances missed and a goal disallowed. Ashbourne did their best to keep McMahon quiet but it takes some defense to do that. Not a bad effort by Ashbourne with 14 but never a serious threat. Having said all that Ratoath need to raise their game big time for next week. A very interesting final and what an achievement for Moynalvey. At the end of day the two best teams are in the final and no post can deny that.

I think it's ridiculous how the minor championship was run this year, dunboyne played Moynalvey off the park last friday beating them by 8 points, only to find out after they needed to win by 9 to qualify. Now Moynalvey are in the final? Surely at this age if there is a draw it should be done on head to head. Very unfortunate on a good dunboyne team who unfortunately for them found their form too late

Agree with Last Post about Dunboyne

They played both Ratoath and Moynalvey this year and beat both of them.

agree 100% with meathgaa18, dunboyne lost 1 match to ashbourne because of injuries and they beat moynalvey by 8 points and ratoath earlier on this year, but they go out on score difference, of course it should come down to head to head.
