They were very very poor in the minor league, losing to some weak teams Meathgaa18 (Meath) - Posts: 27 - 19/08/2011 13:52:58 1014551 Link 0 |
ye they were poor in minor leauge but have all there best players back now and comprehensively beat the minor leauge champions simonstown. there u17s are strong and u16s division 2 semi finalists but were missing players in that semi vs summerhill. philipb323 (Meath) - Posts: 146 - 19/08/2011 15:01:48 1014637 Link 0 |
well ratoath may of had a bad minor league but they have come back strong, and if they are any good 5 meath minors and a 6 point win over league champions simonstown speaks for itself garroo (Meath) - Posts: 34 - 19/08/2011 17:16:25 1014782 Link 0 |
I will be just glad when all this speculation is put to rest and the championship finally gets back on track, then we'll have all the answers, nothing can be judged at this stage. SHERO (Meath) - Posts: 29 - 19/08/2011 18:24:53 1014830 Link 0 |

moylagh4junior , during the 16s championship ratoath had all there players bar maybe 3 for 1 game (they missed heaps for the rest of games) and bet vincents curragha by 4 points , curragha then went on to a semi and were unlucky to lose by 3 to simonstown A.E.T , simonstown went on to win it! ratoath u16s have only started to get a team back and there minors are pretty class and ul see that soon enough anyways. philipb323 (Meath) - Posts: 146 - 20/08/2011 09:49:59 1015001 Link 0 |
Heard Bobby o Brien got straight red card for Ratoath junior team at weekend in their defeat to Dunsany, and will miss next weeks minor match against Walterstown. He will be big loss but they have strong panel and should still win comfortably. expert7 (Meath) - Posts: 24 - 23/08/2011 11:08:33 1016988 Link 0 |

I heard Walterstown have a few gems in their team . Of course we all know how good David Donnellan, Stefan McDonell , Cormac Madden and Colin McGrane are.. But can anyone tell me how good Paul Donnellan , Ruairi ODowd and John Davis are ? Ive been hearing a few good things about them . Could they cause an upset in Ratoath tomorrow ? as Ratoath are with out star man Bobby O'Brien REDMAN93 (Meath) - Posts: 1 - 29/08/2011 18:05:18 1022144 Link 0 |
yes i heard ratoath are missing a good few players tomarrow...so the likes of jack mcgowan darran mulvaney and the big mark daly in the middle of the field will have to step up to the plate...i also hear brian mcmahon and eamon wallace arent starting is this true.. bejerzus (Meath) - Posts: 5 - 29/08/2011 18:34:56 1022161 Link 0 |

Moynalty beat Gaels Colmcille by 14 points to 13. Credit must go to Blacky for this achievement. Moynalty4eva (Meath) - Posts: 108 - 31/08/2011 21:21:14 1024367 Link 0 |

Ratoath beat walterstown by 3 points 2.17 to 3.11. Going on this display Ratoath arent the racing certainties for championship. Walterstown cut them open quite easily and could have had few more goals. expert7 (Meath) - Posts: 24 - 01/09/2011 16:56:36 1024922 Link 0 |

@expert7 I'm not sure What game you were watching because from what I could see Ratoath were cutting through Walterstown a hell of a lot more and could/should have had two if not three more goals whereas down the other end Walterstown got two late goals both of which came from mix ups between the goalkeeper and his defenders, in the end it could have been a hammering but fair play to Walterstown they kept going and were rewarded with the two goals( even if they could have been stopped) that put a bit of respectability on the scoreboard. johnmoore09 (Meath) - Posts: 61 - 02/09/2011 12:37:07 1025412 Link 0 |
