ratoath deservedly bet simonstown the other night but it wasnt a 6 point game it was in reality much tighter than that . it would be a very very interesting to see again if simonstown got conor sheridan(county minor midfielder)amir kalifa and ben clarke back .. also niall coughlan and niall o'mahoney played there 1st game in 4 and 6 months respectively .

whats this about mulvaney quiting surely this would have a serious effect on ratoaths team he is the natural leader .

Heard Duleek/Bellewstown failed to field a team against Skryne and the game was in Duleek.
The skryne lads only found out about Duleeks shortage of players while they were doing their warm up. Apart from this being extremely bad form it has to be said things aren't looking good for Duleek/Bellewstown in the future if they cant field a minor team..thoughts on this?

i feel it was very shocking and disappointing on the Duleek side as it doesn't show much for the club if they cannot field a minor team!!

i think summerhill will win the divion 2 as the were a good team in the league i cant see them loosing it as the where unlucky in the league the were just beat by better teams such as moynalvey as the have a very good chance in winning the divion 1 with some good players on the team and athboy another good team but i dont think the have much chance winning the divion 1 but the are a very good team but just not up to divion 1 standerds ,

i would say trim will win as the won the divion 3 champship and seeing them play the are a good anuf side and i would say clonard will win seeing them playing against trim in the semi final in the league the were very unlucky witha stupid call from the ref in the last 2 mins or so and trim won but i tot clonard were a good big strong team and i think the just might win

DIV 1-ROUND 2

Walterstown -vs- Ratoath, in ratoath

Monalvey -vs- Dun/ash, in ashbourne

Simonstown -vs- O'mahonys, in simonstown

Dunboyne -vs- clann na ngeal, in dunboyne

------------------------------------------------

Safe to say walterstown are knocked out, ratoath and monalvey will be in the semis. The other two places are still up for grabs and could go to anyone

I think walterstown could provide a shock there . they will be up for it and i fancy them to beat ratoath.

I'd say Don/Ash will have a bit to say about that too. Won't be easy for moynalvey in ashbourne, first taste against a big team away from home. Remember Don/ash got to the leauge final.

A very understength walterstown side were humiliated by skryne. Walterstown had to borrow a player off skryne, and were missing colin mcgrane, corman madden, paul donnelan, stefan mcdonell and davy donnelan

I see a few people suggesting Dunboyne could win it, do people really think this? They could certainly win it next year, but im not too sure about this year.

Dunboyne have one of the biggest pitches in the division.. I think them or movnalvey could cause a serious upset
