Walterstown could be close if they got a full fit team 2 pick from ... Dunderry will win Div3 ... Between St.Pats nd Nobber for Div4 ..

I'd say simonstown will win it. They have a good team already but when they get Burke, Coughlan, O'mahony and Sheridan back they will be even better

I fancy Ratoath to do the business. Altough they had a poor league campaign, they were missing the best forward in the county in Bryan Mc Mahon and with Collie Mc Cullagh coming back to fitness they will be a force to be reckoned with.

See the draws are out, big game between ratoath and simonstown in first round. Don/ash and dunboyne looks a good game too. Navan get the soft draw, and walterstown will be happy too.

Don't know, I think gap between div 1 league and div 2 league is too big. Teams coming up don't tend to do well in championship.

There may be a considerable gap between div 1 and div 2, but some teams should never have been in div 2. For intance moynalvey have 4 meath minors and cruised through the division 2 final, they will be well capable of competing in div 1 championship

I'd say Trim will beat St.Finians on the back of their Div.3 success.
Skryne improved alot throughout the league and from what I heard gave Moynalvey a good fight in the semi..and with Skryne at home they should beat Clonard..Wouldn't surprise me if Skryne got to the final

Any other word about the other Div.2 teams?

Clonard will tear Skryne apart and lowchiefsmall Pats and Nobber arent even in Division 4!

Would Clonard be possible contenders for Div.2 so? What makes you think they're so strong?

I wouldnt say Clonard are strong. More so that Skryne are a very weak team

Skryne started off slowely in the league but once they found their feet they played some good football. Clonard will rely on 3 or 4 players like darren mcnevin and adam flanagan to do most their work and shouldnt be any match for skryne.

Have you gone to see Skryne play? Or are you just assuming theY are a "very weak team"

JulianstownBoyo that skryne team only lost to Moynalvey by 8 points in their semi final despite skryne missing their 2 midfielders and their full back as they were playing in a leinster final for Navan RFC on the same day so I would fancy skryne to come out on top by 6 or 7 points at least.

I'm assuming you play for St.Pats? I don't remember Skryne even being in the same division as St.Pats in the minor league?!
Skryne got to the semi final and got bet by a team with 4 county minors who then went on to hockey Clann na Gael in the final and as both these teams are in division 1 for the championship I can see Skryne getting to the final..They improved with every game in the league and lets face it the league is nothing more than pre season training..The championship is what's important..
