806354 This thread was started to discuss the under 21 championship, not under 21 a,b,c grades. They arent even 15 aside and dont really count as championships.

Dont be such as arrogant fool, just become some clubs havent the numbers to feild a strong 15 a side team, dosent mean its any less of a championship to the players who are playin, as they mighten get the chance of silverware at that age,a real gaa person would not say such a narrow minded thing!!

Simonstown beat Skryne by 2 points with the Gaels better all round. I think Skryne had about 5 (I stand to be corrected on that number) who were on the senior championship winning side but none stood out. Certaintly no players that you would consider for the senior county team-my opion only.

I expect St Colmcilles will win the A division, however they should be in Div 1 going on their under age record for this years team ?

Bective are not that good in all fairness. They have one decent corner forward but that is about it.Curraha never got going and the goals that Bective got came at the right time and the second one was very flukey as it took a big deflection of one of the Curraha players and the Goal Keeper coudn't do anything about it.

nah in all seriousness Rataoth are a young team and i expect them to win division 1 next year and compete in the championship for at least 2 years after.
and yes the cilles deserve to be in division 1 because they havn't a hope of winning the championship from what I hear. and next year they won't be nearly as good as this year.

colmcilles are a very good team. biggie obviously a main threat from midfield but also ben brennan is it??and cathal hilliard are deadly accurate from their boot. ratoath are very young team but no excuses cillies were much better all around with biggie leading with great example...if you dont win the u21 do u not get promoted no matter what cos that ratoath team dont deserve to be in a championship next year and certainly not year after??
