Oldcastle struggling

Far from wrong premium.

How the teams fared out afterwards doesn't take away from wether or not they were strong opposition.

Your entire thread is lacking any point or credibility.

But then again we all know your motive.
At least you bring a little humour to the site.

Lads there is no such thing as a favourable draw in senior club football. Without tryng to sound like a WUM i am just trying to state a fact that Oldcaste are one of the poorest teams to win an intermidiate championship. They were appaling in a group in which not one team has made the semis from. Im predicting them to go straight back down to intermidiate. They will be stuck there for a few years to. Sorry Jinxie if i hit a sore spot but the truth is tough.

Sam

You took your time, I expected you on here before this, your starting to slip.

So you reckon that Oldcastle are the poorest Intermediate winners that you have ever seen?
I think thats proof enough that you dont go to many games at all.
As for your prediction, well we are just going to have to wait and see arent we!

i have to say i agree with premium level, i think simonstown will survive and i think ultans have a big game left in them to do enough to stay up, i predicted oldcastle to go down in january myself and im going to stick with that prediction, just seem to lack that bit of experience to win a tight game, its harsh but sport is harsh and somebody has to go down, infact two teams should go down so it could go back to last years system as the group of 5 are at a serious disadvantage but once again the county board pull out of making a big decision

Oldcastle are playing Ultans this weekend.

If Oldcastle win they stay up. If they lose it will depend on the result of their game v simonstown. If they draw it means they have to avoid defeat against Simonstown in the last game.

Its a straight forward 3 way play off with score differance applying to teams finishing tied on points.

thanks for that, would be harsh to go down on score differance

I see oldcastle gave the points to BHG this week. Its a big sign that the club are rapidly going down hill.

Exactly. Think they are being pulled out of next years championship too.
I expect the club to cease operating before Christmas.
No point anymore.
Another great spot by premiumlevel. You devotion to Oldcastle is finally paying off.
Well done son.

i would have agreed with everyone about olcastle a few months ago but things are not looking so bad anymore. we beat the cilles well yesterday and are definitely improving. our only problem is were not physical enough as Magill for the cilles showed us. he was like a steam train going through our team and shows that the boys still have a lot to do.

This carry on of conceding B leauge games is doing football in Meath no good. Young lads just out of minor need adult games to improve and b leauge is ideal for them. Oldcastle are a disgrace as they still had a chance of winning this compition.

I had to look on the Meath county Board website to find out what the last 3 posts were about because I havent been following the leagues too closely.
Then I discovered that ye were talking about the B Leagues. Now I know for certain that some people on here have completely lost it. The B Leagues? No offence to B league players but you might as well judge a clubs fortunes on the results of their U-12 girls team.

Your right, & what makes it worse is the fact that Oldcastle are the first club to ever do this & now have set a precident that other clubs might follow.

However, can you explain how they were still in with a chance of winning that competition?
Or maybe ur not too clever with the auld maths are ya?

How can you call your own club a disgrace when it's lads like you who are the reason the B-League can't field a team. Oldcastle GFC would be far better off if you spent a bit more time running around the park, instead of running your mouth off here. I'm not singling you out, because there are a tonne of other lads out there who can't be bothered and that's why our second team is Junior C! A whole 4 grades below our first team. So next year, get off the laptop dust of the boots and help your club instead of making pointless arguments on here that don't do us any favours.
There's a good lad

You don't really understand satire or sarcasm do you?
If you read the thread in context you might get a different tone from it.
As for the personal jibes, well I'm afraid your story is a little mixed up, either that or you don't actually know me, or more to the point, do know why I don't play football anymore.
However, if you do feel you actually know me, which it appears you don't, you should have better ways of contacting me to air your gripes with me rather than through the medium of hoganstand.
Looking forward to your reply after you've re-read this & the numerous other threads regarding Oldcastle.
That's a good chap.

Oldcastle are fixed to play Ultans in another relagation dog fight in the b leauge on friday. Will they be concedining the points again as they did against BHG or do they just do that against the stronger clubs?

Ha ha, ur getting slower Sam, a few months ago you'd have been straight in behind premiumlevel. It's taken you a cuple of days this time, what's happening ya.
As for you concern regarding the concession of reserve league games, what about all the games bhg conceded last year for such a big team? What about skryne, walterstown, dunboyne, ratoath & plenty of other teams conceding games this year?
You clearly don't have much knowledge of the leagues over the years do ya? It happens ALL clubs from time to time that clubs don't field in reserve league games for multiple different reasons.
Although, it'd be a bit much to expect your level of intelligence to grasp that.
Keep on supporting oldcastle tho, your really getting into things when your looking forward to that b league so much that you felt the need to come on here to discuss it.
Well done Sam.

Look Jinxie. There have been a few lads on this site claiming to know who you are. I have a fair idea to. Your club is strugling to feild a team in the b leauge and you wont go tog out and do your bit. Instead you come on here claiming to know all the solutions to make Meath football stronger. Your even getting abuse from your own clubman.
